Your German Language Pathway

Begin to understand and use everyday German
Students start understanding and using basic everyday German — greetings, introductions, simple questions, and familiar expressions.
Communicate with confidence in familiar situations
Students develop greater confidence communicating in familiar situations and build the foundation required to continue toward B1 and beyond.
What You Will Learn
Throughout the program, students develop the main language skills required to communicate effectively in German.
Speaking
Build confidence introducing yourself, asking questions, taking part in conversations, and handling everyday situations.
Listening
Understand common expressions, instructions, questions, and everyday conversations spoken at a natural pace.
Reading
Work through short texts, messages, notices, emails, and basic written information without guessing at the meaning.
Writing
Write simple messages, emails, descriptions, and short texts in German with correct structure.
Vocabulary & Grammar
Underneath all four skills, you build the vocabulary and grammar foundation needed for practical communication — and for continuing your German beyond A2.
